Use cases

  • An association can setup an event in iMIS. When the person checks out of the registration in iMIS, the user will be created or updated in PheedLoop. In addition, they will be enrolled in the conference and any ticketed items. Tags can also be applied to the user to provide further granularity of access. Once the user is registered at Pheedloop, they can then use the SSO to login. If they are already logged into iMIS they will not have to login again. If they are not logged into iMIS, they will be prompted to login with their iMIS username and password on the iMIS login screen.
